Wine Doesn't Ask Silly Questions, Wine Understands
Andrea and I have been spending the last few years getting to know wine better..especially wines from the Central Coast of California. We do not look down on wines from other regions, it's just that Paso Robles is only 200 miles from our house. We can wake up at 8:00 AM, be on the road by 9:00 AM, and drinking our lunch by noon. The region serves up some delicious Rhone varietals: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Rousanne, Marsanne, Viognier. The blends are my favorites. As far as the wineries go: Halter Ranch, Terry Hoage, Epoch, Jada, Justin, Sculpterra, Linne Calodo, Adelaida, Whalebone, Opolo, Herman Story are some of the good ones.

| Linne Calodo: Great little boutique winery. We got a tour of their facility, and we noticed that "YTMF" was written on chalkboards throughout the building. Thinking it was some special wine language I asked what it stood for. The answer: "Yelp that mother fucker." |
